*Contact the embassy of the foreign citizen to provide information on the process of transporting the body.
Only state-permitted Forensic Hospitals are allowed to perform embalming.
- In case of death due to disease or illness, call 103 for the ambulance.
- In case of death due to external influences or sudden death, call the police at 102.
- Provide the following documents at the Civil Registry Office:
- ID card of the deceased person.
- If the deceased is a minor, provide their birth certificate and the ID cards of their parents.

Funeral Benefit is a monetary benefit of $580 provided by the government to cover expenses for the funeral.
